Bullying Incident Report Form Bullying Definition Bullying is defined by StopBullying.gov as “unwanted, aggressive behavior among school-aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time.” Bullying behaviors are categorized into three primary types: verbal bullying, social bullying, and physical bullying. “Actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose” are all examples of bullying.

Brunswick County Schools Board Policy Per Board Policy 1710/4021/723 0, Brunswick County Schools and the Board acknowledge the dignity and worth of all students and employees and strive to create a safe, orderly, caring, and inviting school environment to facilitate student learning and achievement. Brunswick County Schools and the Board prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, age, ancestry, national origin, gender, socioeconomic status, academic status, gender identity, physical appearance, sexual orientation, pregnancy, or mental, physical, developmental, or sensory disability and will provide equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups as required by law.
